In our opinion, this is the time for FTBL fantasy owners to consider buying Villa, because he is unlikely to further increase in value in the near future; his plank to beat in the next game at No. 11 Sporting Gijón will be 17 points. Sporting have proved very difficult opponents for Valencia in the last 4 encounters, scoring them 9 goals and conceding only 1 defeat.
Then Villa will have to “defend” 32.8 points for the clobbering of Villarreal. Only after that game will the sky clear somewhat and a purchase become more or less safe; his combined plank in the following 2 games will be just 9 points.
